How to Gain Aural and Visual Satisfaction – 22 March 2013

Wvideoe’re pleased to be able to confirm the programme for our next meeting, on Friday 22nd at March 2013. The theme for this meeting is the use of video and mobile media to support learning. Whether you’re a technophile or a technophobe, you will want to come along and find out more.

Judith Elliott, from EL Consulting, will be talking to us about How To Gain Aural and Visual Satisfaction. She assures us that the content of her presentation isn’t as fifty shades as it sounds (shame!) but will still be lively (and a bit controversial) as she reviews the use of technology in learning. Judith will share the findings of her research and what is new in the world of e and m learning. Judith will also demonstrate practical techniques for using video in training sessions, using some of the management film clips she has developed with eltalking.com

We’ll follow Judith’s talk with a facilitated Trainer Toolbox Sharing session in which you’ll have the opportunity to share your experiences of using multimedia in your training, get feedback on ideas you might have about introducing or making more use of electronic and mobile media and answer questions you have – however technical – about the practicalities of using technology in the training room. This is a great opportunity to add some new tools to your box of training tricks and get new insights and ideas on how you could do something differently.

Where and When:

The venue is the Old Bridge, Huntingdon (click here for location and directions) and as is traditional, we’ll be kicking off at 09.00 with tea and coffee on arrival and will provide refreshments throughout the morning. The cost for the meeting is £24.99, early bird discount offer £19.99 on all bookings made before 15 March 2013.
